Kenya

The Environment

Kenya is known for producing some of the highest-quality Arabic coffee in the world. This country hosts an equatorial climate, featuring moderate temperatures and reliable rainfall, which is perfect for growing coffee. Most farms here grow their coffee at a higher elevation, leading to its exceptional taste.

The Flavor

Due to being grown at a higher elevation, beans from Kenya have an increased sugar concentration as well as a more complex acidity. This leads to sweet, fruity, acidic beans with a clean finish that many specialty roasters have grown to love.

Familia Coffee Co's Kenyan Roast

Our Kenyan roast is decaffeinated via the Swiss Water Process and is Certified Organic. It features tasting notes of strawberry and toffee.
