We are the familia Hernandez. We love good conversations, good food, and especially good coffee. We believe these three things are at the core of every good relationship.
Our roasting journey began with an air popper (think: popcorn) in 2018 while still in college. Specialty coffee was too expensive for our budget at the time, so in an effort to save money and still have high quality coffee we took matters into our own hands. That little air popper delivered some of the best coffee that we, and even some of our friends, had ever had!
Fast forward a few years later, still in search for great coffee, we were often left disappointed with what we could purchase on the shelves. Even with reputable big-name roasters, we found that by the time the product landed in stores, the peak freshness window had already passed. Reminiscing back to those fresh cups we enjoyed in college, we decided to start roasting again for our family's needs, and were inspired to share beyond ourselves.
This has always been a dream of ours, so being able to share our fresh coffee with you is an exciting venture. Thank you for your support!
